PP&R is proud to be a sponsor of the annual Seaside School Half Marathon.  The yearly marathon takes place on 30-A and the funds raised go to support the Seaside Neighborhood School.

Partner, Amy Perry, was recently named the Chair-Elect for the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce and will serve her term as Chairman in 2014. Partner, West Ritchie, has been named Chair-Elect for the Walton County Area Chamber of Commerce and will serve his term as Chairman in 2014.  PP&R will have the honor of having two of its partners serving as Chairman of area chambers at the same time.

The name of the firm has changed to Pleat, Perry & Ritchie, P.A. The Firm has added William J. “West” Ritchie to the Firm name.  West has been a valued partner with the Firm for 7 years.

Pleat & Perry was a sponsor of the Destin Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf & Dine Networking Tournament held on Oct. 17th at Emerald Bay Golf Course. The tournament was won by the team led by Pleat & Perry Partner West Ritchie, Associate Ryan Garrity, Jim Bagby and Ken Stevenson. 

Pleat & Perry was a sponsor of the Destin Chamber of Commerce’s Annual PUTToberfest at Golf Garden on Sept. 20th.  The event was a good way to network with the local business community and also served as a good team-building event.

PLEAT SERVING HIS COMMUNITY - David Pleat was recently selected to participate as one of the Celebrity Servers at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s annual charity luncheon on Sept. 13th at Carrabba’s Italian Grill.  David (a/k/a Luke Skywalker) worked to earn tips and sell desserts for the foundation's All Kind of Art educational outreach program. Ticket donations, tips, desserts and raffle tickets were purchased by generous guests and almost $11,000 was raised for the Foundation!

West is running for District 1, Walton County Commissioner, because he believes the residents of Walton County no longer have respect for, or confidence in, our county government.   If elected, West’s background, education and experience will help guide him in returning government to the people.  Please visit www.ElectWestRitchie.com for more information.
