Server Luncheon at Carrabba’s with Pleat & Perry

Pleat & Perry are proud supporters of the MKAF Celebrity Server Luncheon at Carrabba’s!  It sounds like we have some very creative children book characters who will be making their appearance at this education fundraiser benefiting youth development through art in education.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES THROUGH ALL KINDS OF ART (AKA)

·        MKAF promotes art education through a variety of AKA programs to inspire young minds through the literary, visual and performing arts.

·        MKAF advocates the importance of art education in the development of students by encouraging the use of art-infused and art-integrated curriculum.

·        Since 1995, AKA has touched the lives of over 80,000 students through art touring performances, workshops, symphony, opera, percussion, vocalists, storytellers, authors and theater companies at no cost to students or Okaloosa or Walton County School Districts.

·        AKA focuses on inter-active exchanges between children and artists designed to inspire creativity, promote cultural exchanges, instill a positive image of self-esteem and community, build self confidence, foster communication and tolerance and to enrich the overall educational experience.

·        Children who participate in and study the arts have higher SAT and ACT stores and exhibit creativity and imagination to better prepare to live and work in a diverse society.

Our goal is to sell out each seating (200 per seating).  Please promote via email, Facebook and Twitter to all your friends, business associates and fans via the attached flyer.  If you have ticket inventory to sell, please return all ticket sales and unsold tickets to MKAF (650-2226) or Lisa Morgan at Newman-Dailey Resort Properties (837-1071) this week.

Collecting TIPS ahead of time is highly encouraged, so bring those donations on October 13th.  Remember, the server who collects the most tips will win a GREAT PRIZE and will hold the title of TOP CELEBRITY SERVER for the next year!  The bragging rights along are worth thousands!

Thank you for volunteering and supporting art education in Okaloosa and Walton Counties!
